Hello, my name is Andrew. I am the founder of DC KNL tutoring. I have been in the tutoring business the for two years now, tutoring for various organizations such as DC Reads, Heads Up, Higher Achievement, and Hope Charter School. After observing learning habits of many students in the DC area, it is my dream to redefine learning, encourage students to know no limits, and remove any and all barriers in learning.
I went to Lehman Catholic High School located in Sidney, OH. Now I am an undergraduate student attending The Catholic University of America. I am in my third year in the Biomedical Engineering program.
I love being an engineer, completing challenges, and making things simply work. To the right is my design team for a Diet Coke/Mentos Nozzle competition. We reached 28 ft. height of spray from the built up pressure of the nozzle. I am also a member of the Engineers Without Borders DC Chapter.
Academically, my favorite subject is mathematics. Key courses that I have taken are Calculus l,ll, lll, and Differential Equations. Other areas interest are computer programming and robotics.
As far as activities I am the Captain for Bad Habit ultimate frisbee. Bad Habit is a club team at CUA. I also play intramural football every fall and I tutor for DC Reads.
